Glamour Ghoul Hellraiser Box

So I'm a Hellraiser fan of both the 1987 movie and The Hellbound Heart book. I read it about once a year. What keeps me coming back is that I find different ways to interpret the story. It's part love story, part obsession, part gore, part other-worldly, part fantasy, and the Hell Priest aka Pinhead is not necessarily an evil character and he's def not campy like Freddy Krueger. Pinhead plays a role in his dimension that is matter-a-fact. He provides pleasure and pain like it's his job. Speaking of pleasure...food.

I repaid my friend Jodee Bowie back by having her over for tacos and unboxing. (If you recall she's had me over a couple times for her unboxings, you can find the links at the end of this blog.)

It's been pretty hot and humid outside and I wanted something easy, I went with tacos because hell is hot right? I made Spicy Crockpot Chicken Tacos.

3 chicken breasts
1 packet of taco seasoning
1 can of mexicorn
1 16 oz jar of spicy salsa
juice of 2 limes

Mix and place in crockpot on high for 4 hours. Then shred the chicken.

Place in taco shells of your choice.
Top with sliced avocado, lettuce, and cheese.

We inhaled the food, so here's what the leftovers look like.

Jodee brought Spicy Brownies!!!

1 sick of butter
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp of vanilla extract
2 eggs
6 Tbsp of cocoa powder
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (you can add more depending on how spicy you like it)
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325.

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla; beat in your eggs. Sift your dry ingredients into your wet then stir together and add your chocolate chips. Pour into a greased 8×8 pan or into baking cups. Bake for 30-35 minutes.

Now to the unboxing. I just realized I say "actually" a lot. Sorry about that! Lol.

My necklace is from the Puzzle Box Creeper Crate.

1. Hellraiser Print from Street Trash Art. It's witty that they made the puzzle box a Jack-in-the-Box. Find a wide variety of horror items and original artwork on their website!

2. Cenobite Pin from Tenth Dimension Art Collective. This pin in available on their website along with John Waters, David Lynch, Beetlejuice pins and more!

3. Beautiful Suffering Face Mask from Rebel Rouge Labs. You can find this on their website along with cosmetics and much more!

4. Suffer Bath Bomb from The Mad Bombers. You can find this on their website along with a whole bunch of horror themed bath bombs! This bath bomb is GIANT!

5. "You Bathed We Came" Lament Configuration soap from Ginger Voodoo. You can find this soap on their website along with lots of other bath products!

Overall, I enjoyed this box. Thanks for reading and/ or watching. Bye for now!
