When I was waiting in line at Rite Aid I came across this Witches Magazine. Honestly when I bought it, I wasn't expecting much and planned for it to be a fluff magazine. I was pleasantly surprised.
Sure it covers a lot of the basics, but it also delves into the history of witches and their political impact, witch fairy tales, pop culture witches, and even what it means to be a modern witch. It covers the book I reviewed last year Waking the Witch and tackles the "fact or fiction" surrounding witches. I learned more about the fairy tale witch myths and I guess I never realized how ingrained they are in the world around us. It was a fun and informative read, and I recommend it even if you think you are well versed in the subject. The cover states that it should be displayed until July 12, so don't miss out!
